For your interest here are some calculation and comparison between the old and new TNB tariff of a few different category of usage per month 300kWh, 500kWh, 800kWh, 1,000kWh and 1,500kWh.
I had made some calculation based on the new and old TNB tariff, to my surprise, if the one' s usage is above 1,000kWh per month, based on the old tariff your bill is RM274.80, with the new tariff your bill is RM359 per month. The difference per month is RM84.20, difference per year is as much as RM1,010.40.
